About Dr. Burstein

After years of working in various other fields, I decided to pursue a career in psychiatry. It has been my ambition to combine my affinity for health and science, working with people to help make a positive impact in their lives. 

Originally from the East Coast, I am proud to call Colorado home. Since my first introduction to this wonderful state over 20 years ago, I have embraced the people, landscape and lifestyle. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and in the outdoors.​

Notable contributions include lead and co-author of the Behavioral Health Chapter of the Lange Current Diagnosis and Treatment: Pediatrics for 10 years, Past-President for the Colorado Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Society. I am a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. I am proud to have the opportunity to lecture at multiple fellowships nationally and local organizations.
